The workplace (like the home) is our place of Practice …

Might these places be, in many ways, even more fruitful, challenging and stimulating for Zen Practice than any dusty monastery or old temple?

However, to reap the benefits, we must approach our work in a ‘Zen-ful’ way, with a balanced state of mind, in keeping with ‘Right Livelihood’

Good to sit with you 🙂 Glad you got through the work challenges. Doing technical support for a banking application, I’m typically dealing with crisis moments as a norm where millions of dollars are always at steak. It’s excellent opportunity to cast these stress times in the light of impermanent reality and allows practice of calm focus. As a parent I’d argue that children provide that opportunity just as, if not more, frequently 🙂
